We are looking for a Growth Marketing Manager - Email Marketing and CRM to join Pomp’s Growth team. The team is results-focused and thrives at the intersection of customer data, product, and marketing. You should be scrappy, and have a strong background of developing and managing engaging consumer focused content across email, landing pages, and external campaigns. The Growth Marketing Manager - Email Marketing and CRM, reporting to the Director of Growth, will devise and manage conversion and retention focused content campaigns driving company metrics such as conversion, AOV, returning buyers, as well as work with internal stakeholders to plan and execute tests and scale programs. As the Growth Marketing Manager, Email Marketing and CRM, you will be responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive email marketing and CRM program focused on driving client/user acquisition, nurturing, and sophisticated automation journeys. You will provide operational and strategic leadership across content creation, list segmentation, testing, optimization, and reporting. You are an expert at planning and testing customer engagement journeys designed to maximize brand loyalty, spur customer engagement, and ultimately meet ambitious revenue targets.

What you’ll do:

Deliver successful, highly measurable conversion/retention focused programs pinpointing specific business goals and customer segments Develop and launch email campaigns to current customer base to create ongoing engagement with Pomp audience Develop content for email campaigns via a deep understanding of Pomp’s consumer base and highly impactful, creative, and engaging writing Work with other internal teams to develop new CRM programs around existing esthetician and vendor/brand lead campaigns/programs. Continuous innovation and fast experimentation across SEO landing page strategy, email, ad copy/creative, etc., including testing methodology, measurement, creative, tools and more. Leverage data to understand our products in depth, identify areas of opportunity, and execute projects to drive retention, engagement, and/or revenue. Experience pulling data and operating out of tools similar to SQL, Looker, Excel, and other internal tools to work efficiently at scale. Develop and manage all aspects of Pomp’s email marketing program, including personalization, scheduling, list management, funnel design, transactional triggering, reporting, and strategic content creation Design customer segmentation strategies to maximize patient nurturing and conversion Creation of sophisticated email communication flows for welcome series, marketing, non-converter, post-purchase, Pomp Professional, etc. Develop and manage CRM communications such as SMS, push, etc. Work with the development team, copywriters, and graphic designers to develop and implement email content strategy Work with growth and marketing team to provide a unified and consistent experience across all customer communication

What You’ll Bring:

3 - 6 years of experience managing complex email marketing programs (experience in the CPG or D2C space is a plus) Experience working with email marketing tools, and systems for delivering on other digital channels (e.g. mobile notifications) including solid understanding of deliverability optimization Experience working with SMS messaging tools (ex. Twilio, Textline, etc.) Strong writing skills for email, web, ad copy, and other various channels Proven knowledge of key email metrics and strategies that can increase engagement Strong writing skills Experience working at a consumer brand (tech startup) and/or ecommerce business is preferable Possesses a strong sense of urgency, with the ability to get things done both autonomously and collaboratively Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills, who is comfortable in a hands-on, “roll up your sleeves”, start-up environment Expert understanding of inbound marketing analytics and the ability to translate reporting insights into actionable plans Experience creating and launching customer segmentation plans Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and with different audiences You’re excited about the opportunity to work very hard in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high energy to build something incredible Understanding of the luxury consumer/beauty industry and startup experience is a plus
