The Full Stack Engineer II designs and develops software applications. They perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process. The Full Stack Engineer II mentors other software engineers. They collaborate with other functional groups to conduct software design reviews.

You will be working on a night shift, 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, hybrid set up at our office in One Ayala Mall, Makati City
What you’ll be doing
- Designs, develops, and codes new application features
- Debugs, tests, and troubleshoots application throughout the development process
- Modifies and codes software systems
- Analyzes potential problems and finds solutions to pressing issues
- Mentors other Software Engineers
- Participate in on-call rotation
What you’ll bring
- At least four (4) to six (6) years of relevant software development experience (relating to marketplace/medium to large enterprises)
- Intermediate experience with a relevant programming language
- (e.g. Python, Javascript, Groovy, SQL, GitHub etc.)
- Effective problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
- Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
- Ability to consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances
- Ability to adapt approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations

Background checks
As part of our hiring process, we are required to undertake pre-employment checks on all candidates that are successful in their application with Pax8. As part of these checks Pax8 will request ID verification, reference requests and qualification checks (additional checks may be completed for certain countries, such as criminal and financial).
