As a senior member of Pax8’s internal Technology Services team, this role is dedicated to supporting the people of Pax8. The Technology Services Senior Engineer is responsible for the availability, security, scalability, and continuity of the internal systems our employees rely on every day. Operating within a high‑performing IT team, this role shares accountability for outcomes, technical excellence, and employee experience across the business.

🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing

  • 🧠 Act as a senior technical leader designing and evolving enterprise identity and access governance frameworks
  • 🔐 Architect secure, automation-first solutions across identity platforms, SaaS tools, and business systems
  • ⚙️ Build and maintain event-driven, API-based provisioning and lifecycle automation
  • 🚨 Lead complex incident resolution and serve as an escalation point for cross-system challenges
  • 📐 Establish standards for reliability, security, monitoring, and automation resilience
  • 🧩 Partner with Architecture, Security, and Governance teams to translate strategy into working systems
  • 📚 Create high-quality technical documentation supporting operational sustainability and audit readiness
  • 🌱 Mentor engineers, share best practices, and influence long-term technical direction

✅ What You’ll Bring

  • Substantial expertise in enterprise systems engineering, identity platforms, and access governance
  • Proven experience with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Demonstrated hands-on capability with Microsoft Entra ID, including lifecycle management and access governance
  • Strong background in automated provisioning, deprovisioning, and least-privilege access models
  • Extensive automation experience using infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, workflow orchestration tools, and APIs
  • Solid understanding of security best practices in cloud and automated environments
  • Experience collaborating across technical and non-technical stakeholders with clarity and influence
  • Clear, confident communication across engineering and leadership audiences

💰 Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $120,000 – $150,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, location, and role alignment.

🔍 Background Checks

As part of our hiring process, we are required to undertake pre-employment checks on all candidates that are successful in their application with Pax8.
