As our Strategic Global Vendor Alliances Manager (Principal), you’ll lead some of our most influential vendor partnerships, guiding global strategy, driving mutual growth, and shaping how Pax8 shows up in the marketplace.

This is a high‑visibility, high‑impact role for a strategic thinker who excels at building executive relationships, delivering measurable business outcomes, and influencing across diverse teams. You’ll also help set the standard for leadership within our Vendor Alliances team.

🎯 What You’ll Lead & Own

🤝 Strategic Vendor Leadership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to a small portfolio of top vendors, understanding their goals, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Define and own long‑term partnership strategies aligned to Pax8’s marketplace vision.
  • Build and activate joint go‑to‑market initiatives and investment strategies that fuel global growth.

🏛 Executive Relationship Management

  • Build executive‑level alignment and advocacy across vendor organizations.
  • Elevate vendor brand presence across the Pax8 Marketplace.
  • Lead strategic planning sessions, briefings, and roadmap development.

📈 Performance, Monetization & Investment

  • Track partnership performance using KPIs and insights to guide decisions.
  • Optimize margin models, investment structures, and monetization approaches.
  • Deliver compelling, data‑backed business cases to internal and vendor leadership teams.

🧭 Cross‑Functional Leadership

  • Drive clarity and alignment across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and regional teams.
  • Lead workshops and ROB (Rhythm of Business) motions such as MBRs and QBRs.
  • Offer thought leadership on scalable engagement models and cloud innovation.

🌐 Global Market Expansion

  • Build vendor expansion strategies across Pax8’s global regions.
  • Identify and activate cross‑sell, up‑sell, and product expansion opportunities.
  • Support time‑sensitive, in‑quarter strategic initiatives tied to revenue targets.

🧠 What Makes You a Strong Fit

Experience

  • 8+ years in Sales, Business Development, or Vendor/Partner Management (ideally in Cloud or Technology).
  • Strong track record with indirect channels and partner‑led growth.
  • Experience creating scalable business plans and GTM strategies.
  • Skilled at executive‑level presentations and influencing without authority.
  • Business + technical fluency (Microsoft Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce, PowerBI).

What Success Looks Like

30 Days: Build relationships, learn systems, understand vendor priorities.
60 Days: Begin driving OKRs and maturing vendor engagement plans.
6 Months: Fully operational, delivering strategic impact, and shaping global partnership direction.

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $122,764 to 175,378 or more depending on experience.
