If you love solving complex technical challenges, improving operational excellence, and acting as the go‑to escalation point for technical issues, this role puts you right at the heart of our Global Technology Operations team.
As a Technology Operations Engineer II, you’ll be one of the technical experts ensuring our people and platforms run smoothly. You’ll take on complex incidents, support enterprise systems, mentor Level 1 engineers, and help evolve how Pax8 delivers world‑class internal support.
Your work directly impacts our service quality, reliability, and the experience of teams across Pax8.
This role will be based in our office in Makati, Manila, working a rotating schedule (EMEA, AMER, Weekend shifts). Employees are required to attend the office.
What You’ll Do?
Resolve Advanced Technical Issues:
Diagnose and resolve complex incidents involving hardware, software, enterprise apps, network connectivity, and cloud services.
Serve as the primary escalation point for Level 1 engineers.
Take full ownership of incidents—driving them from initial triage through to resolution.
Participate in blameless post‑incident reviews and contribute to root cause analysis.
Support Platform & Systems Administration:
Support configuration and administration of AzureAD/Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft 365, and related enterprise platforms.
Perform compliance checks, device management tasks, operational maintenance, and system health monitoring.
Investigate platform‑related incidents and collaborate with specialist teams or vendors when needed.
Drive Process & Service Improvements:
Plan, test, and implement standard changes within approved change management frameworks.
Assist with platform deployments, workflow optimization, and automation initiatives.
Provide guidance and training to Level 1 engineers to uplift team capability.
Build and Maintain Knowledge Resources:
Create and maintain knowledge base articles, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
Ensure documentation stays accurate, clear, and aligned with best practices.
Promote knowledge reuse across the team.
Grow and Contribute as a Team Member:
Continue developing your technical and ITIL capabilities through structured learning.
Mentor and coach Level 1 engineers.
Apply new skills to improve incident resolution, reduce rework, and elevate service quality.
What You Bring?
3–5+ years in IT support or similar technical role
Strong troubleshooting skills across devices, applications, and cloud services

Experience with:
AzureAD/Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft 365
Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online
AWS/Azure infrastructure
ServiceNow or Jira
Knowledge of identity management, security best practices, and endpoint protection
Excellent communication, collaboration, and ownership mindset
Ability to work independently on complex issues
Preferred Certifications
MS‑100 / MS‑101 – Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator
AZ‑104 – Azure Administrator
AWS Solutions Architect – Associate or equivalent
Pax8 tech stack certifications (bonus!)
