Position Summary:
As a Data Analyst (Revenue Operations Analyst), you’ll be at the heart of how we understand and grow our revenue engine. You’ll use data and storytelling to surface the insights, levers, and strategies that drive performance across segments, cohorts, and markets.
You’ll act as a trusted advisor to leaders in Finance, Product, and Commerce – aligning them around clear, data-backed decisions and enabling efficient execution.
This role can be based in either Brisbane or Sydney.
What You’ll Do?
Own forecasting & analytics, providing forward-looking views that help leadership steer the business and exceed revenue targets.
Analyse sales and revenue data to spot trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend actions to lift performance.
Build reports and dashboards that make KPIs and revenue performance easy to understand and act on.
Support territory strategy, contributing to territory effectiveness, coverage models, and planning initiatives.
Design and maintain BI tools that improve visibility, processes, and performance across the revenue organisation.
Collaborate cross-functionally, aligning stakeholders and clearly communicating insights to non-technical audiences.
Lead projects and ad-hoc analysis, responding quickly to business questions with robust, data-led answers.
Develop resource & financial models that align headcount and investment with the financial plan.
Influence at senior levels, using data and narrative to impact decisions across a broad stakeholder group, including executives.
About You?
5+ years’ experience in business analytics, preferably in B2B, SaaS, or cloud-based organisations.
Strong background in data mining, predictive analytics, and bringing data together from multiple systems.
Demonstrated problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical ability – you enjoy unpacking complex questions and finding the signal in the noise.
Experience with hypothesis-driven analysis, A/B testing, and statistical techniques.
Advanced proficiency with tools like SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or Looker.
Comfortable learning and adopting new digital and technology applications.
Excellent communication skills, able to tailor messages to different audiences and channels.
Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret financial indicators to support better decisions.
A track record of planning and prioritising effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience creating collaborative goals and strategies with cross-functional teams.
A genuine passion for using data to solve complex business problems and drive growth.
