Position Summary

In APAC, we’re doubling down on that mission.

We’re looking for a Vice President of Experience, APAC to lead a cross-company, cross-region initiative to reinvent, refine, and innovate the Pax8 experience for our partners and vendors – with real ownership of how we design programs, offers, services, and journeys end-to-end.

Why this role matters?

As the VP of Experience, you’ll be at the centre of this – owning the modern partner experience strategy and execution and leading a diverse team across Australia, Philippines, New Zealand and Malaysia. Your work will directly shape how partners grow, how vendors invest, and how Pax8 shows up across APAC.

  • Reinvent the partner and vendor experience across the region

  • Innovate new digital GTM services that accelerate both Pax8 and partner revenue

  • Build new revenue-generating services and agile processes that scale the success of our ecosystem

This role can be based at either Brisbane or Sydney only as that's where our major offices are.

What you’ll be doing?

  • Lead the Modern Partner Experience strategy for APAC
    Drive a roadmap of initiatives that continuously improve the experience for partners and vendors, with clear goals and measurable outcomes.

  • Connect and work closely with the Support team
    Ensure partner and vendor experience initiatives are aligned with support operations, resolve escalations effectively, and collaborate to continually improve service quality.

  • Own the Voice of Partner & Vendor
    Design and run listening systems and engagement programs (e.g. NPS, surveys, feedback loops) that give us clear insight into where we’re winning and where we need to evolve.

  • Build and grow Professional Services (ProServe)
    Scale our ProServe capabilities to help partners become Modern Implementation Partners (MIPs) and support emerging initiatives like the agentic store.

  • Rebuild and reimagine Academy
    Oversee Academy Services, designing training and enablement programs that develop our partner ecosystem and lift capability across APAC.

  • Stand up Partner Success as a new capability
    Partner with the business to build out a new Partner Success function – including hiring and shaping a new team of Partner Success Managers.

  • Strengthen and expand our vendor business
    Lead our vendor portfolio strategy across Microsoft, Google and other key vendors, maximising vendor margin, investment and joint success across APAC.

  • Lead a diverse, multi-country team
    You’ll lead and align teams across: Professional Services, Academy, Vendor, and one more upcoming team.

  • Use data to drive decisions and outcomes
    Harness data, tools and market benchmarking to track and improve metrics like NPS, churn, LTV, vendor margin and vendor investment, map journeys and design differentiated value propositions.

  • Navigate competing priorities with calm and clarity
    On any given day, you might move from a vendor escalation, to a ProServe delivery challenge, to an Academy strategy session, to a sales conversation about discounts – and you’ll keep everyone focused on what matters most.

Who you are?

You’re likely someone who has:

  • 10+ years’ experience in program management across sales, marketing, professional services, or customer / partner experience.

  • At least 6+ years leading teams, ideally across multiple regions or globally.

  • Deep experience in vendor management and/or partner ecosystems – you know how to work with hyperscalers, SaaS vendors, channels and partner programs.

  • Proven experience in sales and marketing tech stacks and funnel metrics

  • A track record leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in dynamic, high-growth environments.

  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making, comfortable with test/learn/agile approaches.

  • A mature, effective communication style, able to simplify complexity and influence at senior levels.

  • A reputation for high emotional maturity – calm under pressure, thoughtful in conflict, and clear in ambiguity.

  • Likes fast paced, context-switching – juggling strategic projects, operational fires and stakeholder expectations with ease.
