Position Summary:

As a Channel Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving sales performance and growth within your designated territory. This role requires working closely with the business development reps to provide sales coaching, support the sales funnel, and collaborate on building prospects. Leveraging your cloud technology expertise, you'll identify partner pain points and architect effective business solutions that deliver tangible results. You'll also facilitate the onboarding and enablement of our partners, fostering long-term partnerships and repeat business.

This position will be based in Melbourne, Victoria.

What You'll Do

  • Coach and support BDR sales teams to optimise the sales pipeline and strengthen partner engagement

  • Build and manage a high‑performing prospect pipeline in collaboration with the wider sales and marketing teams

  • Analyse sales and margin performance to identify opportunities and execute revenue‑driving initiatives

  • Develop business plans, conduct QBRs, and ensure Salesforce excellence

  • Lead regional marketing initiatives, industry events, and Pax8 Mission Briefings that deepen partner relationships

  • Build strong vendor connections and execute strategic Go‑To‑Market programmes across your partner network

  • Collaborate with CAMs across the region, strengthening team alignment and sharing expertise

  • Support onboarding of new team members and champion Pax8’s values in everything you do

You're a natural relationship builder with a passion for cloud technology and a proven track record in complex sales environments. You’re data‑driven, strategic, and always two steps ahead. You love coaching others, presenting with impact, and turning insights into action.
You thrive in fast‑paced environments, juggle competing priorities with ease, and get energised by building something bigger than yourself.

What You Bring

  • Success in solution or channel sales, with deep sales process and negotiation expertise

  • Experience analysing sales data and transforming insights into measurable outcomes

  • Strong communication and presentation skills across internal and partner audiences

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems

  • Event planning experience—bonus if you’ve led partner or industry events

  • A genuine passion for technology and the partner ecosystem

  • Strong organisation, self-motivation, and comfort working independently

  • Willingness to travel for partner visits and industry functions
