Pax8 is seeking a Senior Workflow Engineer in our Manila office to join our Workflow Engineering Team – the heart of AI driven automation and innovation! You will supercharge workforce capability, lead breakthrough initiatives through our Rapid Innovation Projects, and partner across Enterprise Architecture, Security, Talent Development, and StratOps to turn bold ideas into impact!
What you will do as a Senior Workflow Engineer at Pax8:
As a hands-on senior contributor, you’ll design, build, and run reliable automation across both our engineered SDLC lane for mission critical work and our governed “work in prod” lane that lets teams move fast safely.
You’ll collaborate closely with Platform Product Owners, the Head of AI Enablement, and Trust & Security to empower builders, harden reusable components, mentor others, and ensure end-to-end reliability for workflows that matter!
You will deliver your excellence between 5pm – 1:30am local time to align with our core UK team (9am - 5:30pm UK time).
Let’s look at your day to day as a Senior Workflow Engineer:
Build & Own end-to-end automations across n8n, Power Platform, ServiceNow, and code services - ship confidently with tests, CI/CD, and reliable runbooks
Shape the Path with reusable templates, connector patterns, telemetry, and safety conventions so builders can move fast and succeed
Keep It Healthy by monitoring workflows, defining SLOs, reducing alerts, and ensuring mission critical reliability
Empower Builders through office hours, clinics, and hands-on collaboration with Platform Product Owners and the Head of AI Enablement.
Guard & Govern with robust access controls, DLP, secrets management, and tight partnership with Trust & Security
Turn Ideas Into Impact by clarifying requests, defining acceptance criteria, and reviewing Rapid Innovation initiatives for feasibility and safety
You'll be the ideal Senior Workflow Engineer for us if you have:
Substantial engineering experience with strong integration experience
Comfortable in TypeScript/Node or Python, REST/GraphQL, events and webhooks
Practical experience in one or more of n8n, Power Platform or ServiceNow, plus Git and CI/CD
SRE mindset - you log, measure, alert and fix at source.
Security minded - OAuth/OIDC, secrets vaults, least-privilege access and data handling basics
Clear communicator who turns ambiguity into shipped outcomes.
Ability to grasp complex ideas and change direction quickly in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels in English and other relevant languages depending on the market

Salary & benefits for Senior Workflow Engineer:
Salary: ₱1,900,000 - ₱2,700,000 per year | ₱158,000 - 225,000 per month
20 Annual Leaves (accruing monthly)

Designated Office: Manila Philippines (primary location)
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: between 5pm – 1:30am local time (to align with 9am - 5:30pm UK time)
5 days per week in office
