🛡️ Security Solution Consultant – Cloud Security SaaS

Location: Remote – USA or Canada | Team: Security Sales
Seniority: Mid-Level | Type: Full-Time, Quota-Carrying Role
OTE Range: $89,775 – $121,275 USD (Base: $62,843 – $78,829)

This is a quota-carrying sales role — prior sales experience is required.

As a Security Solution Consultant, you'll sell Pax8’s growing suite of Cloud Security SaaS solutions to our expansive network of Managed Service Providers across the U.S. and Canada.

You'll build and close pipeline, educate partners on security best practices, and position Pax8’s value with confidence. If you love translating technical solutions into business wins — and can thrive in a quota-driven, high-velocity sales environment — we want to hear from you.

🔥 What You’ll Do

  • Qualify and respond to inbound interest from partners via video, phone, and email — and keep engagement high.

  • Use creativity and persistence to generate demand, follow up with existing leads, and uncover new opportunities.

  • Provide consultative guidance, tailored demos, and expert insights to help MSPs understand our security offerings.

  • Work closely with Solutions Engineers on complex opportunities to get deals across the line.

  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, track opportunities in Salesforce, and consistently hit or exceed your quota.

  • Assist with escalations and post-sale support by collaborating with our Service Delivery team.

  • Stay ahead of security trends, threats, and partner needs across CIS controls, NOC/SOC, ZTNA, and beyond.

🧠 What You Bring

  • 3+ years of direct sales experience, ideally in a B2B or channel sales environment.

  • 3+ years of SaaS sales experience, preferably with a cybersecurity or cloud focus.

  • Deep familiarity with cloud and security services, including PaaS/SaaS, Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Cloud, DevOps, and networking.

  • Proven ability to overachieve quota — top 10–20% of your team is your usual spot.

  • Comfortable selling the Pax8 value proposition and communicating across technical and business stakeholders.

  • Experience using Salesforce and LinkedIn to build strong partner relationships.

  • Ability to explain concepts like ZTNA, CIS controls, NOC/SOC, and cloud security best practices in a clear, actionable way.

  • Strong communication skills — both written and verbal — with high emotional intelligence.

  • CompTIA Security+ certification is expected within the first year of hire (we’ll help you get there).

🎯 What Success Looks Like

Within 90 Days, you’ll:

  • Be fully trained on our Cloud Security SaaS stack and internal tools.

  • Start qualifying leads and working deals with guidance from your manager.

By 120 Days, you’ll:

  • Own a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting.

  • Consistently close deals and hit key performance targets.

By 6–12 Months, you’ll:

  • Be a top-performing rep with a reliable pipeline and strong win rate.

  • Partner with Solutions Engineers and vendors to drive larger, more complex security deals.

  • Help evolve how we position and grow Pax8’s security solutions in the market.

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a starting base salary between $62,843.00 and $78,829.00 with OTE between $89,775.00 and $121,275.00
