💼 Account Executive – Strategic Accounts
Location: Remote – USA | Team: Sales

At Pax8, we’re rewriting the rules of cloud commerce — and we’re looking for a seasoned Account Executive who’s ready to take the wheel with our most strategic accounts. If you’re energized by building relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and driving cross-functional projects that actually move the needle, you might’ve just found your next big win.
This isn’t entry-level sales. You’ll bring senior-level experience and insight to manage complex accounts, work cross-functionally, and lead strategic initiatives across the sales department. You’ll play an essential role in scaling our Cloud Marketplace, one high-impact account at a time.
🧩 What You’ll Do
Drive revenue growth by aligning with strategic accounts in your territory, uncovering cross-sell and standardization opportunities.
Support internal sales reps by helping them close deals faster and smarter — and leading initiatives that improve overall sales efficiency.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers, through virtual and in-person meetings (some travel required).
Develop and present persuasive sales proposals that inspire confidence and drive repeat business.
Lead special projects across the sales department, including initiatives with vendor partners, sales tools, and onboarding support.
Stay plugged into industry trends, including key market shifts and acquisition activity (yes, ChannelE2E will be your new best friend).
Deliver internal product trainings and share strategic insight with the Director of Strategic Accounts.
✅ What You Bring to the Table
7+ years of experience in a relevant sales or account management role, ideally in the tech or SaaS space.
A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets — you’ve done it before, and you’re ready to do it again.
Deep experience in or exposure to the Learning Management System (LMS) ecosystem.
Excellent communication and persuasion skills — you can pitch, present, and negotiate with clarity and confidence.
You’re not just a seller — you’re a strategist. You think ahead, see connections, and know how to drive value beyond the deal.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives, run with high-priority projects, and execute without micromanagement.
Comfortable navigating organizational complexity and influencing across departments.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
Microsoft Certification (or willingness to obtain one within 6 months — we’ll support you every step of the way).
🎯 What Success Looks Like
In Your First 90 Days:
You’ll be fully ramped on Pax8’s platform, territory, and accounts.
Build strong relationships with internal teams and key strategic customers.
Begin contributing to key initiatives across the sales floor.
Within 120 Days:
Launch or lead a sales enablement project or vendor initiative.
Deliver product training or insight sessions to senior sales leadership.
Deliver a robust strategy for expanding relationships within strategic accounts.
By 6–12 Months:
Consistently hit and exceed revenue goals within your portfolio.
Influence larger sales strategy, standardization efforts, or cross-functional improvements.
Be recognized as a thought partner and strategic advisor both inside Pax8 and with your accounts.

Compensation: - Qualified candidates can expect a base salary of $81,900.00 with On Target Earnings of $136,500.00 no caps or limits.
