Position Summary:

The Vendor Alliance Manager (VAM) plays a significant role in growing vendor revenue by managing vendor relationships, vendor product pipeline, vendor sales and activity reporting, and by promoting sales enablement across the floor by effectively aligning sales plays and solution marketing efforts.


This role will be based onsite in our office in One Ayala, Makati, Philippines.

Essential Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

  • Nurture vendor relationships and ensure their ongoing satisfaction and engagement.

  • Increase vendor buy-in to Pax8 and sell Pax8 vendor inventory by growing Marketing development fund (MDF) investments to achieve vendor monetization targets.

  • Collaborate with the Pax8 sales and pre-sales team members to achieve goals set by Pax8 for vendor offerings; aligning sales plays, incentives, enablement and resources to set the team up for success.

  • Align vendor go-to-market strategies with Pax8 business objectives and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets, leveraging data to drive informed decision-making.

  • Keep Pax8 organization and partners up to date and aware of new innovations, services, and technical releases from vendors.

  • Manages reporting of vendors’ quarterly business results for agreed KPIs - Sales forecasts vs actuals, Marketing activities and ROI.

  • Identify issues and make actionable recommendations to ensure optimum subcategory performance across multiple process areas including; sales, marketing, support, product, billing.

Ideal Skills and Experience:

  • Good level of experience in channel sales or solution sales.

  • Experienced in account management, with quote-to-cash process experience.

  • Strong level of experience in a solution sales or engineer role.

  • Understanding of digital processes and data-driven business.

  • SaaS and cloud solution experience – selling, handling, processing.

  • Knowledge and understanding of how the sales channel and sales strategies work.

  • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to facilitate meetings.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Power BI.
