🔐 Cloud Security Sales & Solutions Consultant

Location: Remote | Team: Security Solutions | Travel: 25–50%
Reports To: Manager, Security Solutions Consultants

Are you a high-performing B2B sales pro with deep Security SaaS knowledge? Pax8 is looking for a rare hybrid: someone who’s carried a quota for 7+ years in the SaaS world and can speak fluently about cloud security solutions, from EDR to ZTNA. This is a frontline, revenue-driving role where you'll influence cybersecurity strategies, architect solutions using top-tier vendors from our Cloud Marketplace, and work directly with our most strategic (A1) partners. 💼 What You’ll Do:

As our Cloud Security Sales & Solutions Consultant, you’ll blend technical consulting with solution selling to help our partners build secure, scalable offerings through the Pax8 Marketplace.

Every day you will:

  • Act as the primary technical consultant for A1 partners, aligning cybersecurity strategies to business outcomes.
  • Conduct Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to influence strategic direction and vendor adoption.
  • Lead partner enablement sessions, security stack audits, and best practice workshops across critical categories including EDR, MDR, Email Security, Vulnerability Management, Security Awareness Training, Identity & Access Management, and Network Security.
  • Architect and present multi-vendor solutions leveraging the Pax8 marketplace ecosystem.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level and technical executives, bridging business strategy with technical execution.
  • Partner with vendors to co-develop and deliver joint go-to-market initiatives and technical content.
  • Represent Pax8 at conferences, webinars, and partner events (travel 25–50%).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Enablement, and Marketing to refine cybersecurity positioning and drive partner growth.
  • Manage pipelines, forecast sales, and maintain impeccable Salesforce hygiene.
  • Travel (25–50%) to represent Pax8 at industry events, partner meetings, and workshops.

🎯 You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:

  • 7+ years of direct, quota-carrying sales experience in a B2B or channel environment.
  • 7+ years of SaaS experience — with a strong focus on cloud security solutions.
  • Familiarity with formal sales methodologies such as Command of the Message (Force Management), MEDDICC, medpicc, or other structured frameworks — and the ability to apply them in complex selling environments.
  • Strong understanding of industry frameworks like CIS, NIST, and CMMC and how they drive compliance and business outcomes. Broad experience across core security categories—endpoint, email, identity, vulnerability, network, SOC operations, and cloud security—spanning tools in Microsoft 365, Azure, and GCP environments.
  • Familiarity with Pax8’s security vendor ecosystem (or ability to ramp up quickly).
  • A consultative, value-driven selling approach that earns trust with both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — and the confidence to lead a room, whether virtual or on stage.
  • A track record of being in the top 10–20% of sales performers.
  • Comfort using Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other sales tools to develop relationships and close deals.
  • A CompTIA Security+ cert — or the drive to earn it within your first 12 months.

🚀 What Success Looks Like:

Within 90 days, you will:

  • Complete onboarding and Pax8 security enablement
  • Shadow sales calls and begin building your A1 partner pipeline
  • Get hands-on with our security solutions and start running light demos

By day 120, you will:

  • Own full-cycle sales engagements with select partners
  • Lead technical consultations and close your first solo deals
  • Conduct your first QBR or EBR

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Be recognized as a go-to security resource for 10–15 A1 partners
  • Co-lead enablement sessions, audits, and workshops
  • Deliver multi-vendor proposals that generate real growth

In 1 year, you will:

  • Shape security product strategy based on partner feedback
  • Lead enablement at industry conferences and events
  • Have a measurable impact on the growth of security solution revenue

💰 Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $126,000
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $210,000
  • Includes performance-based incentives with uncapped earning potential
