🚀 Account Executive, A2 Partner Segment (Cloud Marketplace)
📍Location: Remote | 💼 OTE: $121,275
As our A2 Account Executive, you’ll help our Cloud Marketplace partners (aka Managed Service Providers) grow their businesses—and ours.
You’ll take the lead in selling Pax8 Services to partners in our A2 cohort, building authentic relationships and offering solutions that actually solve problems. Your goal? Drive revenue and become your partners’ go-to cloud hero—all without ever packing a suitcase.
Every day, you will...

Run the full sales cycle: from “Nice to meet you” to “We’re closing!”

Build trust with MSPs by understanding their tech stack and business goals—and showing them how Pax8 can help both.

Own a six-month pipeline and bring in new business using our Force Management-inspired sales strategy.

Have recurring check-ins with partner stakeholders (because showing up regularly is how relationships are built).

Strategize with partner sales teams to spot new revenue opportunities like a hawk (but nicer).

Collaborate with our Subject Matter Experts and your POD to make it rain revenue—virtually.
To thrive in this role, you must…

Have 4+ years of channel sales experience (think VARs, MSPs, vendors—bonus points for all three).

Be a closer who’s hungry, humble, and loves the thrill of the win.

Know your way around Force Management (or be eager to learn).

Be able to talk confidently about cloud tech in categories like Security, Infrastructure, Productivity, and more.

Have or be willing to get an MS certification within 6 months of starting.
What success looks like 🚦
✅ Within 90 days:

You’ve built meaningful relationships with 10+ assigned partners.

Your funnel is full and healthy, with real opportunities in motion.

You’ve nailed the Pax8 sales methodology and can run discovery calls like a boss.
✅ Within 120 days:

You’ve facilitated your first 1:1s with SMEs and driven at least $X in new revenue.

You’re managing a steady cadence of meetings with multiple stakeholders per partner.

Your partners are calling you for help before Googling.
✅ By month 6:

You’ve built trusted advisor status with your partner base and are seen as the “cloud expert.”

You’ve driven at least $X in revenue from your territory.
✅ By month 12:

You’ve grown your A2 partners’ revenue and Pax8 footprint significantly.

You’re mentoring newer reps and are well on your way to a Senior AE or another growth path within Pax8.
💵 Compensation
Base salary starts at $78,829, with on-target earnings up to $121,275.
