Position Summary:
The Manager of Collections oversees all collection-related processes, including working with Pax8 partners and vendors to manage past-due accounts, working with external collection agencies, and providing monthly reporting on collection-related metrics. They supervise a team of Collections Specialists and report to the Director of Credit and Collections. The Manager also works with multiple internal departments (Sales, Engineering, Service Delivery, Product) as well as our external partners, customers and vendors to ensure the continued success of Pax8 and our partners.
Essential Responsibilities and Percentage of Time Spent (includes, but is not limited to):
- Provide excellent customer service while building relationships with Pax8 partners, customers and vendors 40%
- Provide reporting to finance leadership on monthly progress, challenges, and other key information 20%
- Help partners with past-due balances establish a payment plan and tracking progress of the plan 10%
- Manage a team of Collections Specialists by developing OKRs, milestones, benchmarks, and goals for performance 15%
- Coordinate partner termination and submit claims to a third-party collection agency portal for partners in violation of their payment plan 5%
- Build inter-department relationships and communicate effectively and efficiently across the company 5%
- Assist with improvements in the collection process and systems. 5%
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least seven (7) years of collection experience
- At least four (4) years of previous management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent reporting skills, utilizing Pivot tables, Vlookups and Power Point presentations
- Experience working in a fast-growing company preferred
- Experience with subscription-based billing preferred
- Ability to multi-task, adapt to multiple demands and shifting/competing priorities while delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
Required Education & Certifications:
- A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $78,000 to $97,000 or more depending on experience.
