This is a Sales Management (of people) role for a team focused on selling Security Solutions for Pax8. Prior people management experience is required.

Position Summary:

The Manager of Security Solutions leads the Security Solution Consultant (SSC) team on a day-to-day basis and ensures their success. They drive and exceed monthly sales goals while keeping the SSCs focused on developing business and growing the number of active partners consuming Security products through Pax8.

Essential Responsibilities and Percentage of Time Spent (includes, but is not limited to):

  1. Monitor the team’s business opportunities and provide support on technologies of their focus, audit Salesforce dashboard accuracy, and ensure achievement of monthly sales goals.
  2. Engage with SSCs on key accounts and strategic deals and maintain personal contact with the top 25 security partners.
  3. Speak to and present security options available through Pax8.
  4. Share knowledge-based development information on security (e.g., email, web, endpoint, network, identity, etc.) market trends, competitive landscape, updates to current vendors, etc.
  5. Manage overall security sales pipeline and forecasts 30-, 60-, and 90-day projections.
  6. Participate in organizational planning and staffing.
  7. Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to develop incentives that drive sales.
  8. Serves as escalation contact for security solutions.
  9. Coordinates and runs weekly team meetings and owns parts of the Security All Hands Monday meeting.
  10. Attends vendor sessions including but not limited to quarterly business reviews, in-office training, dinners, and happy hours.
  11. Builds, reports, and coaches sellers to work toward OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) weekly using Workboard
  12. Interviews, hires, and trains new employees when the team increases headcount or a backfill is required
  13. Collaborates with other departments within Pax8 on a weekly basis to address inefficiencies and areas for opportunity. These departments include but are not limited to Sales Engineering, Support, Product, Vendor teams, and Account Management/Executives.

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least three (3) years of direct sales experience in a sales executive role or equivalent, preferably in a B2B environment
  • At least one (1) year of security, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) experience
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Proficiency with Salesforce
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales
  • Track record of over-achieving quota (e.g., top 10-20% of company) in past positions
  • Strong communication, verbal, writing, and people skills

Required Education & Certifications:

  • A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience

Compensation:

Qualified candidates can expect a Base Salary beginning at $88,200.00 and On Target Earnings of $147,000.00
