Are you ready to make a significant impact in the cloud marketplace while being at the forefront of innovation? Pax8 is seeking a dynamic Vendor Ambassador to serve as the key liaison between Nerdio and our cloud ecosystem. In this role, you will accelerate sales, improve market penetration, and create lasting partner engagement for Nerdio’s offerings.
Please note: This is a vendor-sponsored role that will be re-evaluated after one year to determine whether it will continue. We believe in transparency, and while we’re excited about the impact this role will have, we want candidates to be fully informed about the nature of this opportunity.
Your Day-to-Day
- Drive Revenue Growth: Strategize and execute initiatives that significantly boost the sales of Nerdio solutions through our Pax8 partner network.
- Manage the Sales Pipeline: Develop creative strategies to enhance the lead-to-opportunity conversion rate and ensure all Nerdio opportunities are nurtured and closed.
- Boost Win Rates: Optimize the sales process and collaborate with key sales teams (CAMs, PSCs, SSCs) to increase the percentage of closed deals.
- Partner Enablement: Lead engaging training sessions (both in-person and virtual) for our internal teams and partner community. This includes conducting webinars, demos, and onboarding sessions.
- Enhance Vendor Satisfaction: Gather regular feedback from Nerdio, assess program performance, and implement improvements that enhance partner and vendor satisfaction.
- Measure ROI: Monitor financial returns on Nerdio’s investment by tracking churn rates and conducting regular health checks.
Must-Have Skills for Day 1 Success
- Stellar ability to break down technical information into layman’s terms.
- A solid grasp of sales metrics, analytics, and cloud infrastructure.
- Proven talent for captivating presentations and clear communication.
- A relentless curiosity to learn new platforms and solve complex challenges.
- A genuine passion for customer service with the ability to troubleshoot creatively.
- Experience working with MSPs or in the partner channel ecosystem.
Your Roadmap to Success
- Within 90 days: You will have conducted your first series of training sessions and webinars, driving initial traction for Nerdio solutions.
- Within 6 months: You’ll have optimized the sales funnel and developed new strategies for increasing partner engagement.
- Within 12 months: You’ll be seen as the go-to subject matter expert for Nerdio, with a proven track record of driving measurable revenue growth and partner satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
- Familiarity with the partner channel/MSP landscape.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a knack for fostering collaboration.
Work Environment & Travel
- This is a hybrid role, requiring occasional travel for in-person partner and sales team training sessions.
- Remote work flexibility is offered, but be prepared to keep your camera on for meetings (unless you’ve got a good reason!).

Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. or education in related field or equivalent work experience
- An understanding of the partner channel/MSP community
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $80,000 to $100,000, or more depending on experience.
