Cloud Solutions Engineer - Azure (Infrastructure)
Are you passionate about cloud infrastructure, particularly with Azure? Do you have the skills to take on complex cloud migrations and the expertise to troubleshoot real-time challenges? If you're nodding your head, you might just be the engineer we’re looking for!
As our Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will:
- Lead and support Azure infrastructure migrations, specializing in lift-and-shift migrations.
- Play a pivotal role in deploying and troubleshooting various Azure infrastructure services, including Virtual Machines, Active Directory, and Domain Controllers.
- Contribute to creating reliable and scalable cloud environments by managing Azure Virtual Networks, identity solutions like Entra ID, and backups with Azure Backup and Site Recovery.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Deploy and troubleshoot across Azure services like Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Files, and FSLogix.
- Work directly with Azure Migrate to ensure seamless transitions to the cloud for various clients.
- Provide technical expertise in resolving real-time cloud infrastructure challenges, from DNS issues to identity and access management.
To thrive in this role, you must:
- Have at least 1 year of experience working with Azure infrastructure and migrations.
- Hold an active AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate certification (this is non-negotiable).
- Be proficient in deploying and troubleshooting key Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Migrate, Azure Files, and Entra Connect.
- Demonstrate expertise in setting up Azure Virtual Networks, managing domain controllers, and using the Azure Calculator for cost estimation.
Preferred (but not required) skills that will make you stand out:
- Experience with Nerdio Manager.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills that go beyond just fixing symptoms to identifying root causes.
- Modernization experience using Azure PaaS solutions like Azure SQL and Azure App Services.
- Familiarity with VMWare or Hyper-V environments.

- AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect
- AZ-500 Azure Security Engineer Associate
- AZ-700 Azure Network Engineer Associate
What success looks like in your first year:
- Within 90 days: You’ll be confidently leading Azure infrastructure migrations and have hands-on experience with a variety of Azure services and tools.
- Within 6 months: You’ll have developed advanced troubleshooting techniques and begun modernizing client environments with Azure PaaS solutions.
- Within 1 year: You’ll be seen as a go-to expert for Azure infrastructure, able to tackle the most complex technical challenges and streamline cloud migrations.

Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $86,000 to $105,000 or more depending on experience.
