Are you passionate about sales and cloud security? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can use your skills to help businesses protect their data? If so, Pax8 has an exciting opportunity for you! As a Security Solution Consultant, you’ll be at the forefront of our sales team, specializing in selling Pax8's industry-leading Cloud Security Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions to Managed Service Providers (MSPs) across the United States and Canada. Your expertise in security solutions will be crucial in helping us expand our reach and protect our clients’ digital environments.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Engaging directly with new and existing MSP leads through video chats, emails, and phone calls to introduce our specialized Cloud Security SaaS products.
  • Utilizing your sales skills to qualify inquiries, assess the unique needs of our partners and customers, provide compelling product demonstrations, and close sales.
  • Working closely with Solutions Engineers to ensure that complex deals are effectively managed and brought to a successful close.
  • Building and managing a dynamic sales pipeline, forecasting monthly sales, and keeping detailed sales account records in Salesforce.
  • Proactively following up with leads to maintain active engagement, using creative methods to keep prospects interested and informed about Pax8’s security solutions.
  • Collaborating with the Service Delivery team to resolve any customer concerns and ensure that our partners are satisfied with our security offerings.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A minimum of 1 year of direct sales experience, ideally in a B2B environment, with a strong focus on security solutions.
  • At least 1 year of experience in SaaS sales, with a solid understanding of security services, including SaaS and platform as a service technology.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as CIS controls, NOC, SOC, and ZTNA, along with experience using CRM systems like Salesforce to develop and maintain Partner relationships.
  • A comprehensive understanding of Pax8’s full line of security products and the ability to articulate our value proposition effectively is not required, but will be expected over time
  • Familiarity with Cyber Security, DevOps, networking, cloud computing, and best practices for Cloud SaaS, including products like Microsoft Office 365, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Proven track record of over-achieving sales quotas, consistently ranking in the top 10-20% of sales reps.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills that enable you to connect with and influence stakeholders.

  • Within 90 Days: You will have a thorough understanding of Pax8’s Cloud Security SaaS products and will actively engage with potential MSP partners to generate leads and start meaningful conversations.
  • Within 120 Days: You will have established a strong sales pipeline and will be independently conducting product demonstrations and closing deals.
  • Within 6-12 Months: You will be recognized as a top performer, consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets, and solidifying relationships with MSP partners across various regions.

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect an OTE starting at $74,550

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
