Position Summary:
The Atlassian Administrator will be responsible for supporting and optimizing the Atlassian suite of products, including but not limited to Jira (Software & Jira Service Management), Confluence, and other Atlassian stack applications. The administrator will enhance workflows, improve processes, and engage with users at various levels of toolset usage and understanding. This role also includes training users on how to use the various Atlassian applications effectively.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Admins and users with tasks such as support requests, project changes, permissions, schemes, workflows, filters, dashboards, and spaces.
- Triage and prioritize support requests and monitor Atlassian daily.
- Provide user training on current Atlassian functionality, correct use cases, and as-built configuration.
- Monitor Atlassian Instance(s) for overall health and change requests.
- Identify, recommend, test, and document app Add-Ons or Integrations.
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks such as archiving projects/spaces.
- Create and configure test environments.
- Develop training documentation, possibly including videos, and host Q&A sessions for Atlassian Products.
- Respond to “suggestion box” feedback and take necessary actions.
- Provide Executive Level support and training on Atlassian Products.
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- 5+ years of experience administering Jira and Confluence in the cloud.
- 2+ years of experience administering Jira Service Management (Jira Service Desk).
- Experience with Project Management and/or Scrum.
- Knowledge of Application Security.
- Familiarity with common Atlassian plugins such as ScriptRunner, Github, or Xray.
- Understanding of ITIL Framework and Agile practices.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience can be considered in lieu of a degree for this role.
Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $79,000 or more depending on experience
