Position Summary:
The Manager of Enablement Programs is a go-getter, who thinks and communicates strategically while driving the tactical execution of programs. They are a true partner to Pax8’s revenue organization and have a proven track record in supporting fast-paced teams.
The Manager is comfortable engaging with all levels of the revenue organization and finding creative solutions when there is limited time and resources. They are a business partner for a specific sales team (Channel Development Representatives, Solutions Consultants, or Channel Account Manager) and have a deep understanding of the the sales roles and responsibilities as well as productivity models. Using the Command of the Message (COM) methodology, the Manager guides and enables sales teams to be successful.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Enablement Program Design and Execution
- Designs, schedules, manages, and facilitates Launchpad program – including internal elev8ions and new hires
- Evaluates the Good to Gr8 enablement programs and designs appropriate plan for the advancement of these programs on a quarterly basis while working with key stakeholders
- Observes performance and productivity; Coaches sales leaders to ensure their teams are advancing their sales skills, product knowledge, performance, and their ability to effectively manage their business
- Provides job aids and plans for leaders to execute actionable coaching for their teams
- Creates quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) alignment and execution plans while communicating progress on monthly basis to all revenue stakeholders
- Creates and executes Quarterly Business Revenues (QBRs) that outline effectiveness of the enablement programs for sales leadership and related stakeholders
- Implements and integrates the COM sales methodology to sale playbook
- Updates sales content with current and up to date enablement best practices, Pax8 product, services, and internal tools and processes
- Works with the Curriculum Development (CD) team to develop new, bite-size, just in time eLearning courses. (3x quarter min.)
- Runs quarterly audit for relevance of existing courses while suggesting new courses
- Provides sales leadership updates on the performance of their team’s execution on the eLearning courses
- Revenue Enablement Initiatives
- Participates and shows active leadership in the key enablement initiatives that have impact on the wider revenue organization
- Identifies growth and scale initiatives and drives key revenue initiatives
- Management and Coaching
- Oversees a small team and provides coaching and mentorship
- Completes annual and quarterly reviews as requested by Pax8
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least two (2) years of experience in training and enablement
- Proficient with MS Office suite
- Sales and channel experience preferred
- COM knowledge and enablement preferred
- Expertise with Adult Learning Theory concepts
- Expertise with sales tools like Salesforce and Outreach
- Knowledge of channel, technology, and cloud concepts
- Expertise with program design, development, learning management systems, and content management systems
- Ability to train different sales roles within Pax8 (e.g., CDR, CGS)
- Passion for enabling others to be successful
- Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to quickly pivot to new concepts
- Ability to make good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward
- Ability to consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances
- Ability to paint a compelling picture of the vision and strategy that motivates others to action
- Ability to gain the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity
- Ability to see ahead to future possibilities and translating them to breakthrough strategies
Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $100,000 or more depending on experience
