Position Summary:
The Executive Business Partner – CFO (Chief Financial Officer) is a vital member of the Pax8 Finance & Accounting leadership team. They coordinate and manage essential business functions and activities to help ensure all departmental functions are effective and efficient. The Business Partner advises, plans, and executes strategic projects, from conception through execution. This role ensures efficient business operations of the global finance organization, which spans three regions and numerous countries. The Business Partner assists the CFO and global leadership team in executing the optimal business rhythm, managing an efficient budget, and delivering effective communication to the broader finance organization and the broader Pax8 organization.
Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):
- Assist in the definition and execution of the global finance business rhythm
- Manage global finance budget
- Manage and execute special projects
- Manage the CFO’s calendar and daily schedule
- Assist the CFO with meeting preparation, logistics, and follow-up
- Act as a strategic advisor to CFO
- Manage the CFO’s travel schedule and accommodations
- Assist in monthly reporting and board deliverables
- Other administrative activities
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least eight (8) years of experience in a similar role
- Effective communication, both written and oral, is imperative
- Demonstrated expertise in budget management and planning
- Agility to act with precision in tight timelines
- Equanimity in the face of ambiguity and multiple priorities
- Growth mindset to adapt and perform in dynamic high-growth environments and complex situations
- Ability to plan and align work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
- Project management experience and/or familiarity with project management tools, desired not required
Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $95,000/yr or more depending on experience
