Your role as a React Developer - Merchant Solutions Engineer will be to deliver functionality, best in class templates, documentation and support in order to ensure that our merchants have a superb customer experience using Nyla. You’ll work with cross functional teams to deliver ecommerce functionality and integrations with a focus on scalability, ease of use and load time performance.

Deliver solutions to the most pressing technology based problems facing ecommerce merchants today Deliver features and integrations for partner-managed merchants Rapid issue resolution to meet our merchant commitments Ensure world-class usability of the Nyla Editing experience Drive testing coverage of the Nyla app Deliver best in class Analytics on user experiences Take a customer centric approach to development Ensure a superb merchant experience at all touch points with the product

Requirements:

You can demonstrate a strong track record of developing solutions that solve customer problems You are highly visual and can deliver a pixel-perfect end product based on mockups Expertise in React (with functional components + hooks) Expertise in Next.js Node.js serverless functions Strong knowledge of modern CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid) You excel at communicating clearly, efficiently and empathetically with your colleagues in both verbal and written form You thrive working independently in ambiguous, dynamic environments, using your problem-solving skills and creativity to consistently deliver results You can put yourself in the customers’ shoes, and are their advocate when it comes to making decisions

Preferred Qualifications:

You have a strong grasp of browser fundamentals (eg. how the browser parses and constructs a web page) You have expertise in performance monitoring and optimizations (Lighthouse, WebPageTest) You have experience developing accessible interfaces You have a strong understanding of the ecommerce landscape and the functionality and apps that leading merchants are using today in order to enhance their ecommerce stores You have a track record of delivering features that influence millions of customers and/or Merchants You have experience working remotely with international teams
