An Industry Defining Company
Karoo is a venture-backed startup on a mission to transform cardiovascular care. Our platform is designed to empower large provider groups and health systems to succeed in value-based care contracts with payers by improving patient outcomes and reducing cost of care through better coordination, analytics, and disease management. We are currently live in multiple VBC contracts across more than ten states with significant growth plans for 2026 and beyond. While our initial focus is cardiology, we are building a scalable operating system for managing complex conditions across the healthcare spectrum.
This is a rare opportunity to join a mission-driven founding team at a pivotal stage and help define the future of healthcare technology, with the power to improve the lives of patients with cardiovascular disease, the number one cause of death in America today.
The Role
The Director or Senior Director of Operations will own day-to-day execution across Karoo’s markets and lead the development and scaling of the tools, systems, and processes that enable reliable, high-quality care delivery.
This role is responsible for ensuring that what we design—clinically, operationally, and technologically—actually works in the real world. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator who thrives in early-stage environments, balances urgency with structure, and builds systems that scale.
This role is critical to making Karoo’s care model real, reliable, and repeatable. You’ll ensure that patients receive high-quality care, providers experience operational ease, and the company can scale. Your work will directly impact outcomes, growth, and the sustainability of our value-based model.
