Karoo is seeking an experienced Manager of Strategic Finance & Business Operations to join our team. This person will guide critical business decisions with thoughtful frameworks and analyses, own the company’s forward-looking financial model and contribute to financial and operational reporting to senior management and the company’s investors.

Responsibilities ● Provide analytical frameworks for optimizing operational and financial decision making ● Develop insightful analyses and dashboards utilizing business intelligence platforms ● Create, update, and own the company’s forward-looking financial model ● Support corporate finance processes, including fundraising and evaluating engagements with health plans and self-insured employers ● Update senior management and company investors on financial and operational performance ● Help build and manage a world class strategic finance team

Qualifications ● 2+ years of experience in finance and strategy roles, including strategic finance at fast- growing companies, private equity, and/or investment banking (in a healthcare setting is a plus) ● Understanding of and ability to work with unit economics and corporate finance concepts ● Experience developing financial models and financial and operational dashboards ● Extensive experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace ● Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and influence cross-functionally ● Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing responsibilities
