About Hashgraph:
Hashgraph is a fast-growing software company committed to supporting, developing and servicing Hedera, an open source, proof-of-stake platform. Hedera is EVM-compatible and has been specifically built to meet the needs of enterprise and web3 applications, which require speed, security, stability and sustainability. Hedera’s public network is governed by industry-leading organizations, spanning 11 sectors and 14 regions who oversee the development and direction of the decentralized platform.
The role:
Hashgraph has spent years proving Hedera works at production scale. Now we're building something new on top of it - a payments and settlement product - and that depends on one thing: whether the go-to-market is being driven by someone who has actually operated in that world. We are hiring a Head of Product Management to own that go-to-market and program execution - not a deep technical expert, but a market-facing, customer-facing, use-case-facing product leader. This is the person who aligns internal teams: BD, Marketing, Engineering, Executives - and external partners - on/off-ramps, Financial Institutions - behind one shipped, trusted product
This role exists to ensure that our new product - built for instant settlement of trades and payments, domestic or cross-border - lands with real customers and partners. The initial focus areas are cross-border payments, settlements, treasury operations, and tokenized deposits. This is a role for someone who is comfortable defining the product alongside the market, not just executing an already-fixed spec.
In this role, you will:
- Bring outside-in credibility on payments, settlement, and banking-rail use cases to sharpen how we define and position the product
- Own go-to-market execution for the product. Turning a roadmap Engineering is already driving into real customer and partner traction.
- Build and close external partnerships with node operators, on/off-ramp providers, financial institutions, all in lockstep with BD and Marketing.
- Design and run trials with external stakeholders - node operators, partners, and customers - to prove the product works outside our own walls.
- Ensure for release readiness on performance, security, and usability by asking the tough questions before launch, not after.
- Own and represent the Product Roadmap end to end.
- Own P&L in partnership with the Sales and Engineering leadership team.
- Run program management across every stakeholder group. Schedules, reporting, and keeping BD, Marketing, and Engineering in sync. Utilizing direct, executive-level reporting to leadership.
What success looks like in 6-12 months:
- You will have delivered live solutions for our priority use cases: cross-border payments, settlements, treasury management, and tokenized deposits.
- You will have operationalized a production network by recruiting and onboarding node operators.
- You will have built working on/off-ramps supporting the use cases above.
- Internal stakeholders from BD, Marketing, and Engineering view you as a force multiplier, not a bottleneck.
What you bring:
Core capabilities:
- Real operating experience in payments, settlement, or banking-rail businesses. You understand cross-border payments, stablecoins, on/off-ramps, and how players like SWIFT and Stripe fit together.
- An established professional network across financial services and fintech that opens doors, not just informs opinions.
- Proven go-to-market and program management range: you can define a product's positioning and use cases with the market, and also run the room across a dozen stakeholders.
- A track record of closing external partnerships with node operators, exchanges, or on/off-ramp providers.
- Executive presence. Comfortable reporting to and influencing C-suite and founder-level stakeholders.
- Experience and ability to raise capital for a technology project / company
Functional expertise:
- Leadership experience within cross-border payments, settlement, treasury management, decentralized exchanges, and interoperability.
- Blockchain and distributed ledger technology expertise, ideally within Layer 1 ecosystems.
- The fintech regulatory and operational landscape that shapes what's actually shippable.
Nice to haves:
- Direct experience with Canton, Arc, Ripple, or comparable enterprise blockchain platforms.
- Prior work inside Layer 1 ecosystems.
- Experience operating within governing council or consortium-based network models.
